In addition to providing direct clinical care, the Neonatologist will serve as a mentor and role model for advanced practice providers, neonatal fellows, and other members of the healthcare team. Opportunities to participate in departmental research and educational initiatives are available. Cross-coverage at the Level IV NICU at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick will be required based on divisional needs.
The physician will report to the Medical Director of Neonatology at CMC and the Chief Division of Neonatology at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital, and the Vice President of Operations for the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group.
About the Position:
Deliver high-quality neonatal care in an inpatient setting at Community Medical Center and BMSCH.
Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population
Supervise and support advanced practice providers (APNs/PAs/Fellows and residents)
Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
May be asked to provide additional clinical coverage through extra shifts when needed
Participate in cross-coverage at affiliated sites as required
Candidate Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $225,000 to $350,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
