The level IIIb NICU has a daily census of 33 with extensive pediatric subspecialty support. The Neonatal Division has had a strong commitment to research, both with a dedicated transelational research lab, and an established clinical research program that is NIH funded. Protected time to develop research is available.
NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is affiliated with the NYU Long Island School of Medicine (LISOM), a 3-year medical school aimed at training outstanding primary care physicians and leaders in areas of population health.
