| Abstract | The care of neonates requires a detailed knowledge of their condition. Continuous monitoring is the only way to provide the necessary data. Most patient monitors do not permanently record and may not always allow easy correlation of different parameter values. This article describes a neonatal monitoring system for collection of physiological and environmental data via existing patient monitors which gives more details than have previously been seen. |
