Abstract Description of the state of the art [at that time] for computerized ECG interpretations and the author's own program. When the paper was written, computerized rhythm analysis had not yet been well worked out. The authors expected vector ECGs to replace 12-lead ECGs because of their greater compatibility with computer analysis.
