The Yale University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, is seeking a full-time neonatologist on the clinical track at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, to serve as Medical Director for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, Connecticut. This is a 15 bed NICU in a hospital with 2800 deliveries per year. It is staffed by 3 neonatologists, with night and weekend in-house support provided by NNPs. In addition to clinical and administrative duties at Greenwich Hospital, the position will also involve clinical time in the NICU at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. The unit in New Haven is a large level 4 academic unit providing care for patients with all medical and surgical neonatal diagnoses. There is an active neonatology fellowship and pediatrics residency, and a significant teaching component to this position. There would be ample time allotted for the right candidate to pursue additional academic activities as desired.

Fairfield County offers beautiful shoreline, outstanding public schools, and wonderful cultural and recreational activities including easy access to New York City. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ clinical experience in neonatology, be skilled at all procedures in neonatology, and have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Interest in neonatal follow-up is highly desirable.

Requirements include board certification in neonatology.
