Description:

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Hospitalist. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.

Primary responsibility is in patient care service, teaching, service, scholarly activity, and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Proportion of responsibilities will be dependent on applicant's interests, experience and expertise. The section of Neonatology covers a 46 bed NICU and a Step-Down Special Care Nursery System. This a busy medical/surgical unit with multiple pediatric sub-specialists available. This position includes patient care services during days, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Qualifications:

* MD or DO from accredited medical school or foreign equivalent medical degree.

* Unrestricted Illinois license to practice medicine or Illinois license eligible.

* Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics is required.
